AgentOne 1.1 adds scheduled runs on your own computer
Your move: Uses the operating system's scheduler, not an always-on cloud service

AgentOne 1.1, announced on October 10, adds Scheduled Agents to its desktop app. You can set up recurring work in chat or enter a prompt and cron schedule manually. When a run is due, macOS, Windows or Linux starts the app through its own scheduler, and AgentOne begins a new chat using your existing default model, tools, extensions and settings. Prompts and schedules stay on your computer; there is no cloud scheduler.
Why it matters
This turns repeat requests such as morning briefings, inbox digests or weekly project checks into scheduled work without keeping the app open all day. It is still tied to your computer: if the device is asleep or off, the work runs when it returns, with several missed runs combined into one catch-up. Tools that need approval pause the run and notify you. Local scheduling does not mean every model or connected service runs locally, and this is not an always-on cloud agent.
