Ando came out of stealth on September 24, 2026 with a team messaging app where AI agents are members of the workspace. Agents get their own identities and inboxes, can join channels without being tagged, and can message a person when they think something needs attention. Ando also said it raised $20 million in pre-seed and seed funding from Accel, Index Ventures, and Emergence.
Why it matters
Teams that want agents in the same channels as people now have a product built for that. Ando is new, and many of the teams using it are small, so treat it as an early option to watch.
