Wajo launches Fo, an action agent with its own phone, email, and card
Wajo launched Fo on Product Hunt around August 25, 2026, calling it its first "action agent" for everyone. Fo gets its own identity: its own email address, phone number, and credit card, so it can join group texts, make calls, schedule appointments, change flights, place orders, and send gifts without you handing over your own card details. Wajo describes this as built to "empower, not impersonate." There's a free tier that includes chat, email, text, and voice access with an agent card, and a $99 a month Pro plan that adds the ability to build your own Fo-like agents, capped at 100 tasks a day. Wajo is led by Shivani Poddar, who previously worked at Google DeepMind and on the Jules agent, and the company is based in San Francisco. Access has been through a waitlist.
Why it matters
Most personal assistants stop at drafting a message or sending you a nudge. Fo's pitch is an agent that actually calls, pays, and follows through in the real world, closer to what Catch and Town do for admin tasks, but with its own identity and card attached. Worth watching if you're evaluating agents that take action instead of just chatting.
