Hermes Agent v0.21.2 fixes a bug that could corrupt its local database
Your move: Update now if you're on v0.21.0 or v0.21.1
Nous Research shipped Hermes Agent v0.21.2, a patch release fixing a bug introduced in v0.21.0's rewrite of how the app talks to its local database. That database, `state.db`, stores an agent's sessions and memory. The bug could make two parts of the app fight over the same database file at once, which sometimes made a healthy database get reported as corrupted, or made one bad row crash the sessions list.
Why it matters
If you installed v0.21.0 or v0.21.1 and saw sessions disappear or the app report a corrupted database, update to v0.21.2 now to stop further corruption. Updating alone won't fix a database that's already damaged: stop the gateway, run `hermes doctor` to check what's actually wrong, then `hermes sessions recover` or `hermes sessions repair` to fix it.
