Snap introduces SPECS Intelligence and opens a US iPhone preview

Your move: iPhone preview is insights only; fuller access is invite-only on Mac

Snap introduced SPECS Intelligence on September 16, 2026, an anticipatory personal AI meant to work across iPhone, Mac, and SPECS glasses, using goals and routines from apps you connect. Anyone 18 or older in the US can try an iPhone preview now that shows insights from Gmail and Google Calendar, without the broader service's suggestions or actions. The fuller early-access version is invitation-only through the SPECS Mac app.

Why it matters

You can try a US iPhone preview without SPECS glasses. That preview shows where your time and attention go. The version that suggests actions is still invitation-only on Mac.
