X starts paying creators who publish popular Grok Bot templates

Your move: Invite-only pilot, not a revenue share

X started a pilot on September 25, 2026 that pays some creators for Grok Bot templates they publish and post on X. The payments are discretionary bonuses, not a cut of any revenue, and go out every two weeks based on how many people use a bot and how often they come back to it. Only invited creators with a verified, US-based account and an eligible X Premium subscription can take part, and the pilot is expected to run for about two months.

Why it matters

This program is for people building and publishing Grok Bot templates, not for people who just use a bot someone else made. If you make Grok Bot templates, it's a new way for a popular one to earn something, though the payouts are decided by X and aren't guaranteed.
