Grok Bot is getting ready to work inside X's encrypted chat, XChat

xAI and X are in final testing to connect Grok Bot with XChat, X's encrypted messaging feature. Once live, chat history would carry over between Grok.com and XChat, and users would be able to open their existing bots or create new ones without leaving the chat. X's Chris Park confirmed the integration is coming, and the rollout has reportedly already started for some users.

Why it matters

Nothing to do yet, since this hasn't reached everyone. Once it rolls out fully, it means your Grok Bot conversations and custom bots follow you into XChat instead of staying separate from it.
