Grok Bot adds Team Bots, a shared AI teammate for your whole team

Your move: Each person's chats stay private, but corrections improve it for everyone

xAI opened a public beta of Team Bots on September 28, 2026, a version of Grok Bot built for a whole team to share instead of one person. A Team Bot is set up around a shared role, like sales, product management, marketing, or data analytics, using pre-built templates, and can be invited into a Slack channel under its own handle to answer questions there. Each person's own conversations with it stay private and separate, but corrections or lessons one teammate gives it can improve the answers it gives everyone else. Team Bots are available now on Teams and Enterprise plans.

Why it matters

Your individual chats with a Team Bot aren't visible to teammates, but what you teach it can still shape how it answers other people on the team, so treat feedback you give it as something the whole team benefits from, not just you. Before turning one on, check what credentials and files it's connected to and who on the team that access reaches.
