Instinct's funding talks reportedly value it near $10 billion

Your move: A valuation target, not a closed round yet

The Information reported on September 15, 2026 that Instinct's maker, Spear Street Technology, is in talks to raise $1 billion at a valuation of about $10 billion. That is roughly four times the $2.5 billion valuation it reached just three weeks earlier. Sequoia Capital and Benchmark are reportedly in talks to lead the round. Instinct's user base has passed 100,000, and demand has reportedly outgrown its computing capacity, slowing down replies. Nothing is final yet: this is a funding target, not a signed deal.

Why it matters

This builds on the funding talks already logged here on September 10: now there is a specific number attached, a jump from $2.5 billion to roughly $10 billion in about three weeks. It does not change how Instinct works today, but it shows investor demand and computing costs are both racing ahead of the product itself, which lines up with the slower replies some users have reported.
