Meta shows off a keychain gadget for talking to Muse, adds more stores it can shop

Your move: Ships in December at the earliest; no price announced yet

Meta showed off Muse Charm at its Meta Connect event on September 23, 2026: a keychain-sized device with a roughly 2-inch touchscreen, front and rear cameras, and a 5G connection. You tap a fingerprint sensor and start talking, with no phone needed, and Muse's animated avatar appears on the small screen and talks back in real time. Meta says it plans to ship the device in December 2026 but hasn't announced a price, and said only a handful of units exist so far. At the same event, Meta added Walmart, GameStop, Gap, and Wayfair as stores where Muse can shop and check out on your behalf, on top of the Shopify and PayPal checkout it already supports.

Why it matters

This is unreleased hardware with no price or firm ship date yet, so there's nothing to buy or set up today. If you already use Muse for shopping, the new retail partners mean it can now check out at more stores for you without any extra setup on your end.
