Devin Desktop fixes a startup crash on new Apple M6 Macs

Your move: Update now if Devin Desktop won't open on an M6 Mac

Cognition released Devin Desktop v3.10.35 on September 24, 2026, fixing a bug that made the app crash at startup on Macs with Apple's new M6 chip. The update also fixes a memory leak in the agent command center, a folder-selection bug on SSH and WSL hosts, and makes MCP servers passed in through an ACP client's session usable by the agent.

Why it matters

If Devin Desktop has been crashing on launch on an M6 Mac, update to v3.10.35 to fix it. Everyone else gets the memory-leak and folder-selection fixes as a routine improvement.
