Muse passes 5 million downloads in 22 days, Sensor Tower estimates

Your move: Downloads jumped 73% when Meta raised its ad spending

On September 30, 2026, 9to5Mac reported a Sensor Tower estimate that Muse had passed 5 million downloads, about 22 days after launch. Sensor Tower said ChatGPT, Grok, and Claude took 56, 103, and 492 days to reach that mark. Meta increased ad spending for Muse on September 16, and downloads rose 73% that day.

Why it matters

The count shows how fast people are installing Muse, and a large part of the jump lined up with Meta advertising it inside its own apps. Download totals still leave open how many people keep using it after they install it.
