Townies can now join your group texts and work in their own browser

Your move: Add your Townie to a group chat with other people's Townies

On September 3, 2026, Town let you add your Townie to group texts with other people, including their own Townies. Once added, a Townie can go get things done using its own browser rather than just answering in the chat.

Why it matters

If you coordinate plans with people who also use Town, this lets your Townies work together directly in a shared group chat instead of you relaying between two separate one-on-one conversations.
