Your move: Hourly pages for family, friends, colleagues, and more
On October 3, 2026, WIRED reported that Muse's own instructions tell it to keep a page for every person in the user's life, refreshed hourly, covering family, partners, friends, colleagues, collaborators, and people you follow. A researcher pulled those instructions through the chat interface, and Meta said the agent needs relationship context to be useful, gathering it from public information and what you choose to share.
Why it matters
If you use Muse with email, messages, or other connected apps, it may be quietly assembling relationship dossiers, including dates that matter and suggestions for how to strengthen ties. Review what you have connected, and wipe or edit memories if you do not want that kind of contact graph sitting in the agent.
